FOSSI: Tell us a bit about yourself.
I have a passion for both golf and music. Golf has been a big part of my life since I was just six years old, and I’m excited to have been accepted into the North Carolina A&T golf team, where I plan to keep building my skills and contributing to the team. Music is also a major interest of mine—especially playing the trumpet. During high school, I was active in the school jazz band and loved both performing and exploring different musical styles.
Outside of sports and music, I find a lot of fulfillment in tutoring other students. Helping my peers succeed academically has been really rewarding, and it’s something I look forward to continuing in college. As a Christian, my faith is central to who I am. It shapes my values and influences how I treat others, both on and off the golf course.
In short, I’m a dedicated golfer, passionate musician, enthusiastic tutor, and committed Christian. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead as I pursue my interests and goals at North Carolina A&T State University.
FOSSI: Why are you passionate about pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field?
I am passionate about pursuing a degree in STEM, specifically biology, because I am deeply interested in understanding the intricate workings of living organisms and their environments. Biology allows me to explore the complexities of life, from molecular interactions to entire ecosystems. It is a field where new discoveries are constantly being made, with significant impacts on medicine, agriculture, conservation, and many other areas of human and environmental health. I am eager to contribute to this field and help drive meaningful progress.
Pursuing a degree in biology aligns perfectly with my curiosity about life and my desire to make a difference in the world. For me, it represents an exciting journey of exploration and discovery that I am truly excited to begin.

- I am fluent in Spanish.
- In addition to being on my high school golf team, I was also a part of the school's boxing club.
- I volunteered at multiple places throughout my time in high school.
