Jing Chen
Jing Chen is a project manager for CCPS, the Global Congress on Process Safety, and the AIChE Spring Meeting. She is in charge of conference programming and meeting organization for the aforementioned events. Jing is a chemical engineer with a background in process safety.
Academic faculty work hard to prepare the next generation of chemical engineers for their future careers in industry. To lend a helping hand, AIChE is partnering with industry leaders to provide free faculty workshops in process safety at various locations throughout the US.
Hosted at plant facilities by various sponsors, the workshops demonstrate how process safety is practiced in industrial settings and show how important safety practices are in a plant.
The workshops are free to qualifying faculty, with housing and meals covered. Participants are only responsible for their transportation to and from workshops.
